In the depths of my heart, love’s flame still burns,
But now I must face the pain of our separation.
My tears flow like a river, my soul yearns,
For the touch of your hand, the warmth of your affection.
The memories of our love are etched in my mind,
The laughter, the joy, the moments we shared.
But now those moments seem so hard to find,
As the reality of our separation leaves me feeling scared.
I long to hold you close, to feel your embrace,
To hear your voice whisper sweet nothings in my ear.
But now all that’s left is the memory of your face,
As I try to move on, facing my fear.
Love and separation, two sides of the same coin,
A heart full of love, now shattered and broken.
But I know in my heart, that one day I’ll join
